Tyneside Group Features in Ward Hadaway’s Fastest 50

Tyneside Group’s trajectory changed dramatically in 2013, when the opportunity arose to purchase and convert a listed office building in St James’ Street into 9 residential flats.

The project was completed in conjunction with outside investment and subsequently sold in 2014. This led the Group directly on to another development in the same street.

The investment concept expanded and a second development of 12 flats was completed in 2016.

Work then immediately began on the building which is now Picton Manor on Ellison Place, our third city centre project and Tyneside’s current home.

This project of 11 flats and 3 commercial units was completed in 2017.

Both these buildings were sold during 2018.

This run of 3 large scale developments, all now sold, has been extremely beneficial for Tyneside Group and our external investors.

Our string of successes has now led to the company ranking 2nd in the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest Growing Small Business awards for 2018 and 4th in the overall North East Fastest 50 list.
